Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has returned to his hometown of Benin, Edo State, in preparation for his much-anticipated homecoming concert.
On Tuesday, his record label, Mavin, posted a video of his arrival on x.com with the caption, “Benin, your illustrious son; The Prince of Afrobeats – Rema is Home!”
The concert, set for August 30 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, was first announced by the “Ozeba” hitmaker in July.
This follows a previous attempt by Governor Obaseki to host the superstar in December 2023, which was canceled due to health concerns.
