Nigerian Afro‑fusion artist MODIH has released the official video for the track “No Place Like Lagos,” which appears on his debut project MODIH‑FIED Vol. 1. Directed by Mogambo, the video captures the spirit of Lagos through cinematic visuals and grounded street moments. Since its release it has already gathered over 17,000 views on YouTube.
Born Michael Ifeanyi Odih and formerly known as Meeky, MODIH represents a fresh chapter in Nigerian music culture, rebranding with a clear intentional vision. His EP MODIH‑FIED Vol. 1, released in September 2025, serves as both an introduction and a reintroduction, featuring tracks like “Groove,” “ILYD (I Love Yansh Die),” “Bad Boy From Nigeria,” “2AM,” and “Midlife Crisis.”
The visual for “No Place Like Lagos” aligns with the EP’s broader themes of identity, resilience, and place. His sound is street‑influenced yet layered with reflection and melody, establishing him as an artist who bridges local authenticity and global appeal. With this rollout he signals that his music is rooted in craft, story, and culture.
